What does a Wing have to do?
If a Wing accepts a Friend, the Wing reads the Friend Questionnaire and contacts the Friend to set up an Event. At the 2-hour Event, the Wing checks in to aWingiRL and introduces the Friend to at least one person of the Friend’s choice. A successful Event means the Wing receives $50 compensation for the Event.
How do I become a Wing?
Simply click on “Be a Wing,” fill out the Wing Questionnaire, pass the background check, and pay the Membership Fee. Next, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with a t-shirt in the mail.
How long does the background check take, and what does it check?
Our background checks are done through a company called Certn, who you work with directly . aWingIRL merely receives the results of the background check once it’s finished. Certn verifies your identity and also checks for criminal history, including sex offenses. The background checks are done within an hour or two of request.
How do I become a Friend and Get a Wing?
Simply click on “Get a Wing,” fill out the Friend Questionnaire, pass the background check, pay the membership fees and wait for a Wing to contact you to set up your Event.
What happens during an Event?
The Wing and Friend meet at a mutually acceptable public place, where the Wing and Friend check in to aWingIRL online and then the Wing introduces the Friend to at least one person of the Friend’s choice.
Can a Friend get a refund?
If a Wing does not introduce a Friend to anyone during an Event, then a Friend may submit a refund request at info@awingirl.com and a team member will review the request.
When and how does a Wing get paid?
Wings receive $50 per successful Event, and they get paid every Friday for successful Events that occurred the week prior.
